5.1.16. Elements of multipoint system of injection of fuel

5.1.16.1. Engines of 1,6 l

FUEL HIGHWAY AND NOZZLES

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove pressure in fuel system. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove the top section of an inlet collector.
3. Disconnect electric sockets from four fuel nozzles and remove a plait of wires from the fuel highway.
4. Unscrew connecting nuts and disconnect fuel hoses from the fuel highway.
5. Unscrew three bolts and remove the fuel highway together with nozzles from an inlet collector. Remove the bottom sealing rings from fuel nozzles.
6. Release brackets of fastening and take fuel nozzles from the fuel highway. Remove the top sealing rings from fuel nozzles.
7. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus on fuel nozzles it is necessary to establish new sealing rings.

PRESSURE REGULATOR

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove pressure in fuel system and remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. For improvement of access to the fuel highway remove an arm of a plait of wires from an inlet collector. On DOCH engines of 1,6 l the regulator of pressure settles down on the left forward end of the fuel highway.
3. Holding a regulator a wrench, unscrew a connecting nut of a hose of supply of fuel. Disconnect a hose of supply of fuel and a vacuum hose from a regulator.
4. Unscrew bolts and remove an arm of electric wires from the fuel highway.
5. Remove a regulator from an end face of the fuel highway together with a sealing ring.
6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus it is necessary to use a new sealing ring.

ENGINE OF MANAGEMENT OF IDLING TURNS

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For access to the engine of management of turns of idling remove the case of throttles.
2. Unscrew screws (are specified by shooters) and remove the engine of management of idling turns together with sealing rings.
3. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Before installation of the engine check, that the end face of a plunzher left the engine case no more than on 33 mm.

THROTTLE POTENTIOMETER

Removal and installation


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the case of throttles.
2. Unscrew screws (are specified by shooters) and remove a potentiometer from a throttle.
3. At potentiometer installation, check, that it was correctly combined with an axis of throttles.

THE SENSOR OF TEMPERATURE OF COOLING LIQUID

The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid is screwed in in a thermostat casing.

THE SENSOR OF TEMPERATURE OF AIR ARRIVING IN THE ENGINE

The sensor of temperature is established in the inlet channel which connects a casing of the air filter to an inlet collector.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off ignition and disconnect the electric socket from the sensor.
2. Take the sensor and remove a sealing ring from the inlet channel.
3. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

THE SENSOR OF ABSOLUTE PRESSURE IN THE INLET COLLECTOR

The sensor of absolute pressure in an inlet collector is established on a partition of a motor compartment on the left side from an inlet collector.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off ignition and remove the electric socket and a vacuum hose from the sensor. Remove the sensor.
2. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

SENSOR OF THE CRANKED SHAFT

The sensor is established on a back part of the block of cylinders and is available from below the car.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Take electric conducting of the sensor from brackets of fastening and disconnect the electric socket of the sensor.
3. Unscrew a bolt and remove the sensor.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
5. Using an edge щупа, check, that the gap between an end face of the sensor and teeths of a pulley of a cranked shaft made 1±0,7 mm.

CAMSHAFT SENSOR

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the top casing of a gear belt.
2. Release sensor electroconducting from brackets of fastening and disconnect the electric socket.
3. Unscrew bolts and remove the sensor from a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

DETONATION SENSOR

The sensor of a detonation is established on a back part of the block of cylinders and is available from below the car.

Removal and installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Disconnect the electric socket of the sensor located on wires of the sensor.
3. Unscrew a bolt and remove the sensor from the engine.
4. Check, interfaced surfaces of the sensor and the block of cylinders pure and dry, establish the sensor, fix a bolt and connect the electric socket.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE

The ECU block is located under a water reflector before a windscreen.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. Remove screen wiper levers.
2. Remove the top consolidation from a partition of a motor compartment and remove a water reflector.
3. Unscrew nuts and remove a protective casing of the ECU block.
4. Disconnect electric sockets, unscrew nuts and remove the ECU block.
5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

RELAY OF THE FUEL PUMP

The relay of the fuel pump is located in a motor compartment in the relay block.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover the block of the relay and remove the relay of the fuel pump which is painted in violet color.
2. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
