5.1.13. Throttle case

Removal and installation

SOCH ENGINES OF 1,6 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove pressure in fuel system and disconnect the negative plug from the accumulator.
2. Weaken a collar and disconnect an air inlet tube from a cover of the case of a throttle. Disconnect hoses from a cover.
3. Unscrew screws of fastening of a cover of the case of a throttle.
4. Uncover also a sealing ring the top part of the case of a throttle.
5. Release clamps and disconnect electric sockets from a potentiometer of a throttle and the step-by-step engine operating turns of idling.
6. Remove a hose of supply of fuel from a lateral part of the case of a throttle.
7. Disconnect draft of an accelerator from spherical sharnirny connection on the throttle case.
8. Disconnect vacuum hoses and hoses of ventilation of a case of the engine from the throttle case.
9. Unscrew the nuts, fixing the throttle case to an inlet collector, and remove the throttle case together with laying (on a photo – the SOCH engine of 1,6 l).

10. Unscrew screws and remove the top section of the case of a throttle.
11. Check that interfaced surfaces of section of the case of a throttle pure and dry, establish new laying, establish the top section of the case of a throttle and fix screws. Before installation of screws put on a carving of screws the means interfering their unscrewing.
12. Check that interfaced surfaces of the case of a throttle and an inlet collector pure and dry, establish new laying and establish the throttle case on a collector. On a carving of nuts of fastening of the case of a throttle put the means interfering their unscrewing, and gradually and consistently put the clamps the demanded moment.
13. Connect hoses and draft of an accelerator.
14. Connect a hose of supply of fuel to the throttle case, tightening a nut the demanded moment. Connect electric sockets.
15. Establish sealing laying on the top casing of the case of a throttle, establish a casing on a place and fix screws. Connect the inlet air channel and vacuum hoses.
16. Connect the accumulator.

DOCH ENGINES OF 1,6 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove pressure in fuel system and remove the negative plug from the accumulator.
2. Uncover a jellied mouth of engine oil, unscrew screws and remove a protective casing. Establish a stopper into place.
3. Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters) and remove a plastic arm of a plait of wires from a back part of an inlet collector.
4. Disconnect electric sockets (are specified by shooters) from the sensor of oxygen, the block of ignition, the valve of cleaning and other sockets on the left side of a collector.
5. Unscrew nuts of fastening of the tire of grounding to a head of the block of cylinders and a collector and move a plastic arm aside from a collector.
6. Remove the ignition block.
7. Remove the cleaning valve from the left forward end of a collector and disconnect a valve hose from a collector.
8. Remove a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes (1) from an inlet collector. Remove a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine (2) which union is located near the union of a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
9. Weaken a collar and remove the inlet air channel from the case of throttles.
10. Unscrew bolts of fastening of an arm of a cable of an accelerator to a collector. Remove a bracket and take an accelerator cable from a cam of a throttle and move it aside.
11. Unscrew bolts and remove the case of throttles from an inlet collector.
12. Weaken connecting nuts and disconnect fuel hoses from the fuel highway.
13. Turn throttle cases, weaken collars and remove hoses of supply of cooling liquid from the case of throttles.
14. Disconnect electric sockets from a potentiometer of a throttle and the step-by-step engine of management of idling turns then take the case of throttles from a motor compartment.
15. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus it is necessary to adjust an accelerator cable.

ENGINES 1,8 AND 2,0 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Disconnect electric sockets from the sensor of temperature of air arriving in the engine and a measuring instrument of a stream of air.
3. Weaken a collar and remove a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine from a back part of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Weaken collars and remove the inlet air channel from the air filter and the case of throttles.
5. Remove a bracket of fastening and separate an accelerator cable from spherical sharnirny connection of a cam of a throttle.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove an arm of a cable of an accelerator from the case of throttles.
7. Press hoses of supply of cooling liquid to a back part of the case of throttles, weaken collars and remove both hoses.
8. Remove electric sockets from a potentiometer of a throttle and the spherical engine of management of idling turns.
9. Note an arrangement and disconnect hoses from the case of throttles, then unscrew nuts and remove the case of throttles from an inlet collector.
10. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, thus it is necessary to adjust an accelerator cable.
