3.1.6. Pulley of a cranked shaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

For fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft it is necessary to use only a new bolt.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the right forward wheel.

2. Remove an auxiliary driving belt.

3. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft. For prevention of rotation of a cranked shaft on models with a mechanical transmission the assistant should include any transfer and press a brake. On models with an automatic transmission unscrew one of bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer and, using a steel core, fix a drive plate to a transmission case.

4. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft and remove a pulley. Thus be careful not to damage the sensor of a cranked shaft.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Establish a pulley of a cranked shaft (it is specified by an arrow) and fix it a new bolt (is specified by an arrow).
2. Fix a cranked shaft from a provorachivaniye the same method, as when weakening a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft.
	3. Tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft in three stages.
