3.1.4. Top dead point (VMT) of the piston of the first cylinder

GENERAL INFORMATION

The top dead point (VMT) of the piston is a point through which passes each piston at a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft. Each piston reaches situation VMT at the end of a compression step, then again at the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of installation of the mechanism of a gozoraspredeleniye of the engine VMT of the piston of the first cylinder is used.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that ignition is switched off. Remove high-voltage wires from spark plugs, then unscrew spark plugs.
2. For access to an adjusting label of a pulley of a camshaft remove the top casing of a gear belt.
3. Turn the engine a wrench for a pulley of a cranked shaft before combination of an adjusting label on a camshaft pulley with the index located on a back casing of a gear belt.
4. Thus the label on a pulley of a cranked shaft (And) should be combined with the index (In) on the bottom casing of a gear belt.
