3.1.15. Oil pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a gear belt.
2. Remove a camshaft, a pulley of a gear belt of a cranked shaft and the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt.
3. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a back casing of a gear belt from the case of a camshaft and the oil pump.
4. Remove the oil pallet and a pipe of a maslopriyemnik with the mesh filter.
5. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of pressure of oil.
6. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the sensor of provision of a cranked shaft and move the sensor aside.
7. Unscrew bolts and remove the oil pump assembled from the end of a cranked shaft. Remove laying.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew screws of fastening and uncover the oil pump.
2. Using a marker, note an arrangement of internal and external rotors of the oil pump.
3. Take internal and external rotors of the oil pump from the pump case.
4. Unscrew a bolt of a safety valve of pressure from a forward part of the case of the oil pump and take a spring and a plunzher from the case (see fig. Safety valve of pressure).
5. Clear all details of the oil pump and check their condition.
6. Using an edge щупа, measure a gap between an internal and external rotor of the oil pump.
7. Using a metal ruler, check an axial gap between the case of the oil pump and rotors.
8. Assembly of the pump is made in sequence, return dismantling taking into account the next moments:

  – check that rotors are established according to earlier made labels;
  – establish a new washer under a bolt of fastening of a safety valve;
  – on a carving of screws of fastening of a cover of the oil pump put the means interfering their unscrewing;
rotating an internal rotor of the oil pump, fill the pump with oil.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using a screw-driver as the lever, take an oil sealing ring of a cranked shaft and establish a new sealing ring. Grease working edges of a new sealing ring with pure engine oil.
2. Check that interfaced surfaces of the oil pump and the block of cylinders pure and dry and directing plugs are established in the block of cylinders.
3. Establish new laying of the oil pump to the block of cylinders.
4. Establish the oil pump on a cranked shaft so that the internal rotor of the pump was accurately fixed on cranked to a shaft. Establish the case of the oil pump on directing plugs. At installation of the oil pump it is necessary to be careful not to damage a sealing ring on a ledge of a cranked shaft (1) and to combine an internal rotor of the pump with sides of a cranked shaft (2).
5. Establish and tighten the demanded moment bolts of fastening of the oil pump.
6. Establish the sensor of provision of a cranked shaft on the case of the oil pump. Connect the electric socket to the sensor.
7. Attach a pipe of a maslopriyemnik to the oil pump about use of a new sealing ring.
8. Establish a back casing of a gear belt.
9. Establish a pulley of a gear belt, the mechanism of a tension and a gear belt.
10. Fill in in the engine pure oil.
