Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. The camshaft can be removed only after removal of the case of a camshaft from the engine. As the case of a camshaft is attached by bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders, it is necessary to remove a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 2. After removal of the case of a camshaft unscrew a fastening bolt from the block and remove the block from a case end face. |

3. Unscrew bolts and remove a face cover from the left forward end of the case. |
|
4. Measure люфт a camshaft. Unscrew two bolts and remove a persistent plate of a camshaft. |
|
5. Take a camshaft from the left end face of the case of a camshaft. |

Check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Check a condition of bearings in the camshaft case. Check, that openings for supply of oil to a camshaft were not hammered. |
| 2. Check necks and camshaft cams on wear. |
| 3. Check a persistent plate of a camshaft on existence of wear and flutes and, if necessary, replace it. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove an old sealing ring of a camshaft and the camshaft case. Establish a new sealing ring working edges inside so that the face surface of a sealing ring was flush with a face surface of the case of a camshaft. |
| 2. Grease a camshaft, bearings of the case of a camshaft and working edges of an oil sealing ring with fresh engine oil. |
| 3. Being careful, establish a camshaft in the camshaft case. |
| 4. Establish a persistent plate of a camshaft and fix it bolts. Check axial люфт a camshaft. |
| 5. Establish a new sealing ring of round section in a groove of a face cover. Establish a cover to the case of a camshaft and fix bolts. |
| 6. Further installation is made in sequence, return to removal. |
