Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Establish the selector lever in situation N. Remove forward wheels and an engine mudguard.
2. Merge oil from a transmission.
3. Remove the accumulator, a support of the accumulator and a starter.
4. On engines of 1,6 l remove the ignition block.
5. Remove a selector cable from the lever of a choice of transfers on a transmission. Remove a cover of a cable of the selector from an arm on a transmission.
6. Disconnect electric sockets of sensors and transmission switches. Release wires from fastening brackets on a transmission.
7. Disconnect a ventilation hose from the top part of a transmission.
8. Remove hoses of an oil radiator from a forward part of a transmission (see fig. Fastening of hoses of an oil radiator to a transmission on engines of 1,6 l, fig. An arrangement of hoses of an oil radiator on a transmission on l engines 1,8 and 2,0).
9. Close hoses jams.
10. Remove the bottom frame of a forward suspension bracket. Thus reliably support the engine.
11. Take from a transmission internal hinges of power shafts and tie up them a wire to a body.
12. Unscrew bolts and separate the left support of the power unit from a forward part of a case of a transmission.
13. Remove a rubber cover from a ledge of the oil pallet for access to bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer. Unscrew a visible bolt of fastening of the hydrotransformer, then turn a cranked shaft of the engine and unscrew other bolts. On engines of 1,6 l three bolts are used, and on engines 1,8 and 2,0 of l six bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer are used.
14. Move the hydrotransformer on an entrance shaft to a transmission case.
15. Establish a jack under a transmission and raise it so that the weight of a transmission was perceived by a jack.
16. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
17. Move a jack and a transmission to the right and remove a transmission from directing pins. Lower a jack together with a transmission and take a transmission from under the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation of a transmission is made in sequence, return to removal taking into account the next moments:

 – check that directing pins are established on the places;
 – replace sealing rings of power shafts;
 – at installation of pipes of an oil radiator establish new sealing rings;
 – fill in oil in a transmission.
