III – a maslosjemny ring

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation of new piston rings check a gap in the ring lock.
2. Arrange pistons and piston rings according to cylinders in which they will work.
3. Establish the top sealing ring in the first cylinder and the bottom of the piston push it in the cylinder to the cylinder basis.

Prevention

The top and average sealing rings are various, an external surface of an average ring the konusny.

4. Using a thorn measure a gap in the ring lock.
5. Repeat measurement process with a ring established in the top part of the cylinder and compare results of measurement to specifications.
6. If too small, it it is necessary to increase a gap, soshlifovyvy ring end faces.
7. If too small, it it is necessary to increase a gap, soshlifovyvy ring end faces.
8. If a gap in the lock of a ring too big, check correctness compliance of rings to your engine.
9. Repeat check operation for each ring in the first cylinder and then for rings in other cylinders.
10. Establish piston rings on pistons in the same way, as well as at removal.
11. On the diesel engine of 1,7 l the top and bottom sealing rings differ and can be identified on labels on the top ring surface. The top ring has a square profile and is noted by the T letter. The second ring has a conic profile and is noted by a letter 2Т. Marking on rings should be directed up.
12. After installation of piston rings on the piston check a lekgost of a peremeshcheniyaporshnevy ring in a flute of the piston and establish locks of piston rings.
