Check

Press a brake pedal several times at not working engine to create in cavities of the vacuum amplifier the identical pressure close to the atmospheric. At the same time on the effort enclosed to a pedal, define, whether there is no jamming of the case of the valve. Stop a brake pedal in the middle of its course and start the engine. At the serviceable vacuum amplifier the brake pedal after start of the engine should leave forward. If the pedal does not leave forward, check fastening of a tip of a hose, a condition of fastening of a flange of a tip in the amplifier, a hose and union condition. On cars with diesel engines check operability of the vacuum pump.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the bottom furnish of the dashboard.
2. Working under the panel from the driver, disconnect a pedal pusher from the piston of the vacuum amplifier.
3. Remove rubber consolidation from the top part of a partition of a motor compartment.
4. Remove the main brake cylinder.
5. Remove a plait of wires over the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
6. Remove the hydraulic modulator of ABS system and the control unit.
7. Using the lever, take the unilateral valve from the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
8. Unscrew nuts and remove the vacuum amplifier of brakes up from a motor compartment.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation of the vacuum amplifier of brakes measure distance from the end of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier to an interfaced surface of the main brake cylinder which should make 149.5 mm.
2. If adjustment is necessary, weaken a lock-nut (2) and, turning a pusher (1), establish the demanded distance.
3. Establish the vacuum amplifier on a partition of a motor compartment, combining with a pedal pusher, and fix nuts.
4. Establish the unilateral valve in condensing ring of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
5. Establish the hydraulic modulator of ABS system and the control unit.
6. Establish into place a plait of wires.
7. Establish the main brake cylinder.
8. Establish rubber consolidation on the top part of a partition of a motor compartment.
9. Connect a brake pedal to a pusher.
10. Establish furnish of the lower part of the dashboard.
