5.2.8. Check and adjustment of the maximum turns

Engines of 1,7 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
2. Press an accelerator pedal against the stop no more than for 2-3 seconds and check that the maximum turns of the engine correspond to technical requirements.
3. If adjustment is required, switch off the engine, weaken a lock-nut and turn the screw of adjustment of the maximum turns (1) and repeatedly tighten a lock-nut.
4. Repeatedly check the maximum turns of the engine.

Engines of 2 l

The maximum turns of the engine are established by the ECU block and cannot be adjusted.
