3.2.4. Top dead point (VMT) of the piston of the first cylinder

GENERAL INFORMATION

The top dead point (VMT) of the piston is a point through which passes each piston at a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft. Each piston reaches situation VMT at the end of a step of compression and then again at the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of installation of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye of the engine VMT of the piston of the first cylinder in a compression step is used. The N1 cylinder is from a gear belt.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and unscrew spark plugs.
Engines of 1,6 l
2. For access to adjusting labels of a pulley of a camshaft remove the top casing of a gear belt.
3. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft until adjusting labels on pulleys of camshafts (And) will not be directed to each other and will not be combined with the top part of a head of the block of cylinders (In).
L engines 1,8 and 2,0
4. For access to adjusting labels of pulleys of camshafts remove the top casing of a gear belt.
5. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft until adjusting labels on pulleys of a camshaft will not be established in the top situation and will be combined with indexes on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (1). Combine a label on a pulley of a cranked shaft with the index on the case (2).
