3.2.16. Replacement of oil sealing rings of a cranked shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Right sealing ring
1. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
2. Drill in a sealing ring two small openings, located in the opposite ends of consolidation. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, take for heads of screws a sealing ring.
3. Clear a nest of a sealing ring.
4. Grease working edges of a new sealing ring with fresh engine oil and, using a tubular opravka, establish a sealing ring in a nest.
5. Clear all traces of oil, then establish a pulley of a cranked shaft.

6. Remove a flywheel or a drive plate.
7. Drill in a sealing ring two small openings, located in the opposite ends of consolidation. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, take out for heads of screws a sealing ring.
8. Clear a nest of a sealing ring.
9. Grease working edges of a new sealing ring with fresh engine oil and, using a tubular opravka, establish a sealing ring in a nest.
10. Establish a flywheel or a drive plate.
