Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a gear belt. Before removal of a gear belt turn a cranked shaft in the opposite direction approximately on 60 ° (4 teeth) that will establish camshafts so that pressure of klapanny springs will be evenly on all length of a shaft.
2. Remove pulleys from camshafts.
3. On distributive to a shaft, operating inlet valves, working in spiral sequence outside inside, evenly and gradually weaken bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of a camshaft. As soon as pressure of a klapanny spring will stop, unscrew bolts completely. Covers of bearings and a place of their installation on a head of the block of cylinders are numbered. (A camshaft of inlet valves from 1 to 5. A camshaft of final valves from 6 to 10).
4. Take a camshaft from a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Repeat actions on removal of the camshaft operating final valves.
6. Using a rubber sucker, take pushers from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders and store each pusher in a separate package for the subsequent repeated installation of pushers on the places.

Prevention

Do not overturn hydraulic pushers as from them oil can flow out.


Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check working surfaces of bearings of camshafts and contours of cams of camshafts on wear. In the presence of any wear replace a camshaft. If camshaft bearings are worn-out, it is necessary to replace a head of the block of the cylinder.
2. Check a condition of working surfaces of hydraulic pushers which contact with camshaft cams.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease hydraulic pushers with pure engine oil and insert each pusher on the place in a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Grease necks and camshaft cams with pure engine oil and establish a camshaft in a head of the block of cylinders. Check that the cranked shaft is in situation on 60 ° back from the top dead point of the first cylinder, and turn each camshaft so that ledges of cams of the first cylinder were directed up. Temporarily establish pulleys on camshafts and turn them so that the adjusting label of a pulley was displaced on 4 teeth before VMT.
3. Apply a thin film hermetic to interfaced surfaces of the right covers of bearings of camshafts (see fig. Places of drawing of a thin layer of hermetic on a head of the block of the cylinders interfaced to the right covers of bearings of a camshaft).
4. Establish covers of bearings according to identification labels.
5. On distributive to a shaft, operating inlet valves, tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of a camshaft a hand, then on a spiral from the center to edge tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings gradually and in a certain sequence, turning each bolt on a turn half for one pass until each cover will not concern a head of the block of cylinders. Then in the same sequence tighten bolts the demanded moment in some stages.
6. Similarly tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of the camshaft operating final valves.
7. Establish new oil sealing rings of camshafts.
8. Establish pulleys of camshafts.
9. Combine all adjusting labels of pulleys with indexes and establish a gear belt.
10. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and casings of a gear belt.
