6.1.3. Accumulator check

GENERAL INFORMATION

In the accumulator it is necessary to make check of density of electrolit each 3 months to define loading ability of the accumulator.

Check is made by a plotnomer. At determination of density of electrolit it is necessary to consider accumulator temperature. At temperature of electrolit is lower 15 ° With on everyone 10 ° About less this temperature from the measured density subtract value 0.007. For everyone 10 ° From over 15 ° With add 0.007.

The electrolit density in the accumulator should be in the following limits:

Temperature
Above 25 ° With
Below 25 ° With
Full charging
1.210-1.230
1.270-1.290
Charging for 70 %
1.170-1.190
1.230-1.250
The discharged
1.050-1.070
1.110-1.130

Density of electrolit measure in everyone bank. The difference in density 0.04 or more between two any banks indicates loss of electrolit or a sulfatatsiya of plates.

If the electrolit density between two any banks differs more than on 0.04 the accumulator is subject to replacement. If the density of electrolit is lower demanded, but identical in all banks, the accumulator is necessary for charging.

In case of use of the unattended accumulator the condition of the accumulator can be checked only the voltmeter. In accumulators with the built-in indicator of degree of a zaryazhennost the condition of the accumulator is determined by color of the indicator. Green color of the indicator corresponds to a full battery charging. Black color of the indicator indicates need of a battery charging. Dark blue color of the indicator testifies to low level of electrolit in the accumulator.
