7.4.5. Replacement of covers of hinges of equal angular speeds

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a power shaft. Remove from a power shaft the hinge of equal angular speeds. If replacement of two protective covers is necessary, remove from a power shaft only one hinge of equal angular speeds and a quencher of krutilny fluctuations.
2. Remove collars of fastening of protective covers and shift a protective cover from a power shaft.
3. Clean old greasing from the hinge of equal angular speeds and fill the hinge with new greasing.
4. Establish a new protective cover on a power shaft so that the flange of a protective cover was established in flutes of a power shaft. The internal flange of a protective cover should be at distance of 135 mm from the end of a power shaft. If on driving to a shaft there are two flutes, it is necessary to establish an internal flange of a protective cover at distance of 123 mm from the end of a power shaft.
5. Fill with fresh greasing the hinge of equal angular speeds.
6. Establish the hinge of equal angular speeds with a new lock ring on a power shaft. Thus the lock ring should be fixed accurately in a flute of a power shaft.
7. Establish a collar of fastening of a protective cover.
8. Establish a protective cover on the hinge of equal angular speeds, then let the air out from under a protective cover.
9. Fix a protective cover new collars.
10. Establish a power shaft in the car.
