7.1.7. Leading knot of coupling

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a transmission.
2. Note the provision of leading knot of coupling in relation to a flywheel, using a marker or paint.
. 3. Gradually in diagonal sequence weaken bolts of leading knot of coupling, turning each bolt on a turn half until it will be terminated a spring, and bolts can be unscrewed manually.
4. Remove leading knot of coupling and a coupling disk.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check overlays of a disk of coupling on wear, mechanical damages or pollution by oil.
2. In the presence of these defects it is necessary to replace a disk of coupling.
3. If frictional slips in a good condition also are not worn-out to grooves, springs of a damper are reliably fixed and zaklepochny connections are not loosened, it is possible to establish a disk of coupling in the car.
4. If the disk of coupling is polluted by oil, check the left oil sealing ring of a cranked shaft or primary shaft of a transmission. If necessary replace sealing rings before installation of a new disk of coupling.
5. Check knot of a leading disk on wear of a press disk, mechanical damages, reliability of zaklepochny connection, damage of a diafragmenny spring of coupling. If the spring of a diaphragm is worn-out or damaged, or there are suspicions that elasticity of a spring changed, it is necessary to replace knot of a leading disk.
6. Check working surfaces of a press disk and a flywheel, interfaced to overlays of a disk of coupling. They should be pure, flat and not have scratches and development.
7. Check press the bearing which should rotate easily, evenly and silently. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring, should be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development. If there are these defects, it is necessary to replace the working cylinder of coupling.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus an opravka center a coupling disk in order that primary shaft of a transmission passed through grooves in the center of a disk of coupling.
