3.5.5. Engine repair
| GENERAL INFORMATION |
It is most convenient to perform works on the engine if it is established on a special bed.
Before engine repair it is necessary to remove from it:
– inlet and final collectors;
– arm of the compressor of the conditioner of air, pump of strengthening of a steering and generator;
– pump of system of cooling;
– elements of fuel system;
– plait of wires and all electric switches, and sensors;
– oil filter;
– flywheel.
If it is necessary to make only repair of the block of cylinders, a cranked shaft, pistons and rods, it is necessary to remove a head of the block of cylinders, the oil pallet, the oil pump and a gear belt of a drive or a chain.
In need of carrying out complete major maintenance it is necessary to remove from the engine:
– inlet and final collectors;
– a gear belt of a drive, pulleys and the tension mechanism (except the diesel engine of 2,0 l);
– head of the block of cylinders;
– flywheel;
– oil pallet;
– oil pump;
– chains and asterisks (the diesel engine of 2,0 l);
– pistons with rods;
– cranked shaft.
