3.5.21. Installation of pistons with rods

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a back part of the shatunny loose leaf and a place of its installation in rods and covers of rods.
2. Grease pistons and piston rings and place locks of piston rings according to requirements.
3. Installation of pistons is necessary for beginning with the first cylinder. Compress piston rings on the porshnespetsialny adaptation for compression of piston rings.
Petrol engines
4. Insert the piston with the adaptation compressing rings, into the top part of the first cylinder. Thus the arrow on a head of the piston should be directed towards a gear belt.
5. Using wooden whetstone or the hammer handle, press on the piston and press it into the cylinder.
6. Check combination of the bottom head of a rod with a neck of a cranked shaft. If necessary tighten the piston a rod and establish the bottom head of a rod with the loose leaf on a neck of a cranked shaft. The ledge on the basis of a cover of the bearing of a rod should be directed towards a flywheel.
7. Screw up bolts of fastening of a cover of a rod the demanded moment (at the left – a tightening of bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of the bottom head of a rod the demanded moment, on the right – a tightening of bolts of fastening of the bottom cover of a rod, dovorachivy on a certain corner).
8. On engines of 1,8 l and 2,0 establish the main cover of bearings and in diagonal sequence from the center to edge tighten fastening bolts.
9. On all engines establish a pipe of a maslopriyemnik, the oil pallet and a head of the block of cylinders.
Diesel engines of 1,7 l
10. Take from the rod basis bolts and establish new bolts in a rod.
11. Insert the piston with an opravka compressing piston rings, into the top part of the first cylinder. Thus the adjusting label on a head of the piston should be directed to a gear belt.
12. Using wooden whetstone or the hammer handle, press on the piston and press it into the cylinder.
13. Check combination of the bottom head of a rod with a neck of a cranked shaft and, if necessary, tighten the piston a rod and establish the bottom head of a rod with the loose leaf on a neck of a cranked shaft.
14. Establish a cover of the bottom head of a rod and put the clamps a demanded moment / dovorachivaniye on a certain corner.
15. Similarly establish other three pistons with rods.
16. Turn a cranked shaft and check that it rotates freely and without jammings. Establish a partition in the lower part of the block of cylinders and fix bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
17. Establish a pipe of a maslopriyemnik, the oil pallet and a head of the block of cylinders.
Diesel engine of 2,0 l
18. Insert the piston with an opravka compressing rings in the top part of the first cylinder. Thus the arrow on a head of the piston should be directed to a chain of a drive of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye. Using wooden whetstone or the hammer handle, press on the piston and press it into the cylinder.
19. Check combination of the bottom head of a rod with a neck of a cranked shaft and, if necessary, tighten the piston a rod and establish the bottom head of a rod with the loose leaf on a neck of a cranked shaft. Establish a cover of the bottom head of a rod with the loose leaf. Thus the ledge on a cover of a rod should be directed to a flywheel.
20. In some stages tighten bolts of fastening the demanded moment (at the left – a tightening of bolts of fastening of a cover of the bottom head of a rod a dinamometrichesky key, on the right – a tightening of bolts of fastening of a cover of the bottom head of a rod with their dovorachivaniye on a certain corner).
21. Similarly establish other three piston and a rod.
22. Turn a cranked shaft and check that it rotates easily and without jammings.
23. Establish a pipe of a maslopriyemnik, the oil pallet and a head of the block of cylinders.
