3.1.17. Replacement of sealing rings of a cranked shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
2. Drill in a sealing ring two small openings located in the opposite ends of a sealing ring.
	3. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend for heads of screws a sealing ring.
4. Clear a nest for a sealing ring.
	5. Grease with pure engine oil working edges of a new sealing ring and establish it on a cranked shaft.
6. Remove all traces of engine oil and establish a pulley of a cranked shaft.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a flywheel. Measure depth of installation of a sealing ring in a nest.

2. Drill in a sealing ring two small openings, located in the opposite ends of a sealing ring. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend for heads of screws a sealing ring.

3. Clear a nest for a sealing ring.

4. Grease with pure engine oil working edges of a new sealing ring and establish it into place.

5. Remove all traces of engine oil and establish a flywheel.
